Topiary- The Bench

Benches serve a great purpose and with the onset of Spring, perhaps it is a good time to introduce the Topiary, the bench, to the world.

Details after the jump..

The Topiary Bench is framed in steel and painted black. The bench seat is Oregon White Oak and uses the natural curve of the locally milled wood to support your bum. The seat and back slats are sealed with oil and naturally rot resistant.
The idea of the bench is that it will become covered in a soft flowering plant such as jasmine or some other fragrant variety of climbing flower. The few slats on the back of the bench preserve the vines and keep the flowers close.  Once the vines become thick enough, the height of Trellis will offer the occupants a sweet smelling and private refuge.
