A Cut Above

I had a large volume of oak scraps in the shop and instead of putting them to the fire as many might I used their unique shapes to dictate the final form. They turned out great and are going to last a long time and are sure to serve all the kitchens they have the fortune to end up in very well.

Who said a cutting board had to be a rectangular slab?

Fresh Out of the Studio

Fresh out the door is a side table that will be used as a vanity for a bathroom. The new owners will be using marble vessel sinks. Finishing touches include the matching mirror and towel bar below the vanity top.
More pictures after the jump.

Zen

What is Zen?
Well....it Is.

While you ponder that here are some more Japanese modern pieces fresh off the lathe.

These are done out of American Walnut that has been collected and gathered locally.

Who likes Sake?
Again, Walnut but this time sleaved and anointed with some chome.
